Holiday Workshop FAQs

What ages are the holiday workshops for?

Workshops suit kids aged 6–14, grouped by age and workshop type. Younger makers start with guided robot builds; older kids code rovers with sensors or design their own arcade game.

Where do the workshops run?

Sessions run at community venues across Melbourne’s west and north, including Caroline Springs Library and venues in Melton. Each booking shows the exact venue, date and time.

Does my child need experience or their own equipment?

No — most kids come as complete beginners, and ThinkerLab supplies all robots, iPads and laptops. Sessions are small-group and fully guided by WWCC-cleared educators.

How much does a holiday workshop cost?

Single-session workshops start from $35, with longer masterclasses up to $69. Booking is online via TryBooking, and spots are limited to keep groups small.

What does my child take home?

Beyond the skills, kids leave with something to show — a game they coded, a race they won, or a robot demo for the family — plus workshop keepsakes in selected sessions.
