What Students Will Do
In this interactive school robotics and coding incursion in Victoria, students will:
- Build a functional robot using high-quality, Lego-like robotics kits
- Learn how robots work — motors, sensors, inputs & outputs
- Program their robot using age-appropriate, block-based coding
- Test, debug, and improve their design through guided challenges
- Work collaboratively, share ideas, and reflect on solutions
Every student is actively involved — no passive watching.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the STEM incursion for primary school, students will:
- Understand how mechanics, electronics, and coding work together
- Learn the difference between inputs and outputs (sensors & motors)
