About this workshop
The perfect first coding workshop for kids aged 9–12 in Caroline Springs. Your child designs and codes their own video game, brings characters to life, adds points and sound effects, and takes home a proud “I made that!” moment. No experience needed — we supply the laptops and guide them every step of the way.

What ages is Code Your Own Game for?
This session is designed for ages 9–12 years. Children work in pairs with step-by-step support from our educators, so even first-timers feel confident.
Does my child need any robotics or coding experience?
No. Every ThinkerLab workshop is built for complete beginners and our educators guide each step. Kids who already have some experience get extension challenges so they’re always stretched, never bored.
What do we need to bring?
Nothing — we supply all robots, iPads and materials. Just bring your child and arrive about 10 minutes early so we can sign everyone in calmly.
When and where is Code Your Own Game held?
Caroline Springs on Saturday, 4 July 2026, 10:30 – 11:30 am. Spots are limited and school holiday sessions often sell out, so we recommend booking early.
