About this workshop
“I built that. I coded that. I won.” Watch your child say those words in just two hours. A high-energy, hands-on masterclass in Caroline Springs where kids move beyond passive screen time to become true inventors. Using our Lego-style Yahboom kits, your child builds their own rover, writes real code, and races it on a track they help design — thinking, testing and troubleshooting from scratch. Beginner friendly, with our educators guiding every step.

What ages is Young Maker MasterClass for?
This session is designed for ages 9–13 years. Children work in pairs with step-by-step support from our educators, so even first-timers feel confident.
Does my child need any robotics or coding experience?
No. Every ThinkerLab workshop is built for complete beginners and our educators guide each step. Kids who already have some experience get extension challenges so they’re always stretched, never bored.
What do we need to bring?
Nothing — we supply all robots, iPads and materials. Just bring your child and arrive about 10 minutes early so we can sign everyone in calmly.
When and where is Young Maker MasterClass held?
