About this workshop
Our signature 90-minute robotics masterclass for kids aged 9–13 at Melton Library. Kids program VinciBot robots to sense, react and navigate — then compete in the Hack the Track relay on our purpose-built course, with the timer counting down. Unforgettable school holiday fun.

Who it’s for
Designed for ages 9–13 years. Code a robot to conquer the ThinkerLab track. No experience needed — beginners are fully supported and confident kids get extension challenges. Children work in pairs, so first-timers always have a hand to hold.

What ages is Hack the Track — Robotics Masterclass for?
This session is designed for ages 9–13 years. Children work in pairs with step-by-step support from our educators, so even first-timers feel confident.
Does my child need any robotics or coding experience?
No. Every ThinkerLab workshop is built for complete beginners and our educators guide each step. Kids who already have some experience get extension challenges so they’re always stretched, never bored.
What do we need to bring?
Nothing — we supply all robots, iPads and materials. Just bring your child and arrive about 10 minutes early so we can sign everyone in calmly.
When and where is Hack the Track — Robotics Masterclass held?
Melton on Saturday, 11 July 2026, 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Spots are limited and school holiday sessions often sell out, so we recommend booking early.
